Portfolio Software Service Software for your handheld
Aportisdoc Reader software. Aportisdoc Documents are very popular with users of the PalmPilot palmtop, there are a big lot of electronic text files (including literature) available in this format which is now acessible to all portfolio users! There are some Aportisdoc documents there, too.
Function, (7579 Bytes) this is my first program which people said is good enough to bring to the general public. You need PBasic to run it. Oh, what the program is about? It is a very versatile plotter for mathematical functions. This program has a german user interface.
FOLIO.PAS (13167 Bytes) is a unit which provides a number of really interesting portfolio specific procedures for use by turbo pascal programmers. It includes things like producing the alarm sound, menu handling, line editor handling (that was difficult...), fast graphics screen refresh, checking clock speed and nice other features. But the description is in german... Ask me if you can't understand it. Maybe i will bring out a translated version.
Logo! (21222 Bytes) version 0.5, is a logic analyser for the portfolio. It can sample 8 channels at up to 140.000 Hz on a 4.95MHz portfolio. On faster portfolios it will sample faster as well. There is a nice english user interface and a beautiful graphics screen and useful functions.
There is a german user interface version (22784 Bytes) available.
The Hacker Crackdown (329147 Bytes), electronic literature from Bruce sterling about police and hackers in the USA. 12 PREAD files.
HOOKS.PAS (2553 Bytes), a Turbo Pascal unit which provides procedures for writing hook files to be used in the internal editor. Description in german, see note from FOLIO.PAS.
Fuzzy Find (7931 Bytes) is a hook file which performs a "fuzzy" text search in the editor. This does not seem to have any real use, but it is really funny and interesting! You need a RAMcard to use this. Written using HOOKS.PAS
KEYTEST (7004 Bytes) is a small utility for Turbo Pascal programmers. It prints the READKEY key code of the keys pressed. Great if you have lost your keyboard tables.
This (12923 Bytes) is a german language demo beta version of coming-soon (or later or never) paint program PortPaint. Special feature: The painting area is much bigger than the screen! Final version will be available in english, too. (Read above for development stop.)
