WiFi Analyzer check ［to English Note］ 「令和三年五月十七日［2021/05/17］」
「PC110」による"インターネット閲覧"用無線LAN／WiFiにとして用意した、"微弱電力AP"（AIR-LAP1042N-P-K9）の実際の電波強度を、（手持ちの道具類だけで）見たくて、苦闘した。（図１）
その"微弱電波"を、離れた場所から見たら、どの程度減衰しているかを、おおよそで良いから知りたかった。
電波の分布状態：スペクトルを見るには、「APモニタ」（既に、廃棄）のようなものもあったのだが、これは強度が分からないので、（今有ったとしても、）役には立たない。
IO-DATA製無線LANカードのユティリティに、電波スペクトルが見られるものがあったはずなんだが？はてさて、何処へやったやら？
取り敢えず、ネット上を探して、「WiFi Analyzer（Open-source）」（無料版）を見付けた。
（ただ、同じ"WiFi Analyzer"という名称でも、"Channel Graph"が見られなかったり、結局は有料だったりするものがあって、上記のものを選ぶまでに、かなり、回り道をしてしまった）
これは、ノートPC（「Win10」）上でも使えるが、それだと移動するには不便だ。
私は、"スマホ"は使っていないので、買ってあるジャンク品の中から、持ち運べるものを探した。
結局、それを搭載するには、「iPhone」はダメで、適当なのは"Android"ジャンク「EveryPad」（Yamada電機用）だった。（図４［クリック］）
"Channel Graph"を開くと、電波スペクトルが鮮やかに見えた。ヨシ！
作業机上からは、約1.5mほどしか離れていないので、強度は、程々に"強"らしい。（図２［クリック］ 上側は、当苑が、契約中のWiFi系」）

数十mの距離を離れれば、当該電波の姿が消えてしまうことを確かめた。
尤も、誰かが意図して探せば、遠くからでも見付けられるだろうと思うが、私の場合、単に目立たなければ良いだけの話で、それには、十分な状況だと見た。
木造建屋の階下約5m離れた位置で見ると、随分減衰していることが分かった。
近隣から紛れ込んで来ている電波と、殆ど同じレベルにまで落ちている。（図３）
後刻、数百m離れた場所でも、調べたけれど、当然ながら、これの"姿かたち"は皆無だった。
使用した「Android」のバージョンは、"Ver.4.2.2"。（図４［クリック］）
もしかしたら、"Ver.5"以上のものが必要かもしれない．．．と思っていたが、幸い、此のレベルでも、良かったらしい。
最近の便利そうなアプリの多くは、低いバージョンのもの（iPhoneやAndroid）は、相手にしてくれないから、ジャンクを愛する私などは、常に困っている。（苦笑）
．．．しかし、これで見ると、日本国内では"5GHz"は、殆ど使われていないのか、と思えるほど空いている。
5GHzは、伝搬力が低いのかな？
逆に、2.5GHzは、こんな田舎でも、結構混雑しているようだ。
こんな電波の"混雑度"が、眼に見えるのが、面白い！

I struggled to see the actual radiowave strength of the weak power AP (AIR-LAP1042N-P-K9) for "Internet browsing" by "PC110". ( Fig.1 )
I wanted to know how much the "weak radio waves" were attenuated when viewed from a distance.
For seeing of radio wave spectrum, there was something like " AP monitor " (already discarded), but this Is useless (if any) because I don't know the strength.
Radio spectrum can be seen in the utility of IO-DATA wireless LAN card.
Now, should have been there ? Well, where did I put it ?
For the time being, I searched the internet and found the " WiFi Analyzer (Open-source) " (free version).
(However, even with the same name "WiFi Analyzer", there are some that I can't see " Channel Graph " or I end up paying for it. I made a detour)
It can also be used on laptops ("Win10"), but it's inconvenient to move around.
I don't use a "smartphone", so I searched for a junk item I bought that I could carry with me.
After all, "iPhone" is not good for installing it, and "Android" junk " EveryPad " (Yamada-Denki) There was suitable one I have. ( Fig.4 [click] )
When I opened "Channel Graph", the radio spectrum looked vivid. Good !
The strength seems to be moderately "strong" because it is only about 1.5m away from the work desk. ( Fig.2 [click ] The upper side is the WiFi system that I has a contract with.)

+++ Power of minute power AP? +++
It was confirmed that the radio wave disappeared after a distance of several tens of meters.
I think that if someone deliberately searches for it, it can be found from a distance, but in my case, it's just a matter of not being noticeable, and I saw that it was a sufficient situation.
Looking at the position about 5m downstairs of the wooden building, it was found that it was considerably attenuated.
The radio waves have dropped to almost the same level as the radio waves coming in from the neighborhood. ( Fig.3 )
Later, I investigated it even at a distance of several hundred meters, but of course, there was no "shape" of this.
The version of " Android " used is " Ver.4.2.2 ". ( Fig.4 [click] )
Maybe It needs something more than "Ver.5"... I thought, but fortunately, it seems that this level was also good.
Many of the apps that seem to be useful these days don't deal with lower versions (iPhone and Android), so I'm always a junk lover. I'm worried. (bitter smile)
... However, looking at this, "5GHz" is so vacant that it seems that it is rarely used in this area.
Is 5GHz low propagation power ?
On the contrary, 2.5GHz seems to be quite crowded even in such a countryside.
It's interesting to see this degree of congestion !
