No picture appears.

  Be sure the monitor's power is turned on (press POWER).

  Check the connections between the camera and the monitor.

  Adjust the monitor's BRIT control.

Image is not clear.

  Adjust the monitor's CONT control.

  Adjust the monitor's V-HOLD or H-HOLD control.

  Be sure the camera is not aimed directly at a light source.

  Check the connections between the camera and the monitor.


Cannot record on the VCR.

  Check the cable connections between the VCR and the monitor.

  Be sure the VCR is set for the audio/video input and is set to record.

  Be sure the monitor is scanning or a camera is selected.

  Be sure a camera is connected to the selected input.


Cannot play back using the monitor.

  Check the connections between the VCR and the monitor.

  Be sure the VCR is set to the playback mode.

  Make sure the monitor is set to VCR.
