INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER'S BATTERY

You need one 9-volt battery to power the transmitter.  We recommend an
alkaline battery, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-553.

1.  Slide the battery compartment's cover in the direction of the arrow
    and lift it open.

2.  Insert one 9-volt battery.  Be sure the polarity (+ and -) is correct
    as shown in the battery compartment.

3.  Replace the cover.

INSTALLING THE POLICE CAR'S BATTERIES

You need four AA batteries and one 9-volt battery to power the Police
Car.  We recommend alkaline batteries, such as Cat. No. 23-552 and 23-
553.

1.  Set ON/Off to OFF.

2.  Slide the latch in the direction of the arrow.  Lift the cover.

3.  Insert four AA batteries and one 9-volt battery, as indicated by the
    polarity symbols (+ and -) inside the battery compartment.

4.  Replace the cover and turn the latch to lock it.
