INSTALLING BATTERIES

You need two AA batteries to power the slot machine.  We recommend
alkaline batteries such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-557.  Follow these
steps to install the batteries.

1.  To remove the battery compartment cover, press and slide the cover in
    the direction of the arrow.

2.  Insert two AA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -)
    marked inside the compartment.

3.  Replace the cover.

Note:  If the game does not work properly, you might need to reset it.  To
       reset the game, remove and reinstall the batteries.  100, SYMBOL,
       and 77777 appear on the display.  If the game still does not work
       properly, or the display dims or the sound weakens, replace the
       batteries with fresh ones.

PLAYING WITH OR WITHOUT SOUND EFFECTS

To turn off the sound effects, press SOUND until SYMBOL disappears from
the display.

To add sound effects, press SOUND until SYMBOL appears on the display.

AUTOMATIC POWER-OFF

To conserve battery power, the game automatically turns off if you do not
press START/STOP within about 2 minutes.

To turn on the game and continue play, press START/STOP.  The game resumes
where you left off.
