No picture appears.

  *  Be sure the monitor's power is turned on.  (Press POWER.)

  *  Check the connections between the camera and the monitor.

  *  Adjust the monitor's CONTRAST control.

  *  Be sure the VCR switch on the monitor is set to the proper function -
     either RECORD or PLAY.

  *  Adjust the camera's BEAM and/or TARGET controls.  (These controls are
     set at the factory and rarely require adjusting.)

Image is not clear.

  *  Adjust the monitor's CONTRAST control.

  *  Adjust the monitor V-HOLD or H-HOLD control.

  *  Adjust the setting for the camera lens.

  *  Be sure the camera is not aimed directly at a light source.

  *  Check the connections between the camera and the monitor.

  *  Adjust the camera's FOCUS control.  (This control is set at the
     factory and rarely requires adjusting.)

Cannot record on the VCR.

  *  Check the cable connections between the VCR and the monitor.

  *  Be sure the VCR is set for audio/video input and is set to record.

  *  Be sure the monitor's VCR switch is set to RECORD.

Cannot play back using the monitor.

  *  Check the connections between the VCR and the monitor.

  *  Be sure the VCR is set to play back mode.

  *  Be sure the monitor's VCR switch is set to PLAY.
