OUTPUT POWER SWITCH

1.     In the OFF position, power is removed from the output 
       receptacles and the inverter is turned off.  The battery
       will continue to charge.

2.     In the ON position, power is supplied to the output receptacles.
       Remove the piece of tape covering the switch.  This is for 
       shipping only.

OUTPUT POWER LED

The Output Power LED (green LED) indicates that there is AC voltage
present at the output receptacles.  During normal operation, this LED is
continuously illuminated.  When utility power has been lost and power is
being supplied  from the UPS 300 battery, the LED flashes every two
seconds.

POWER CORD

The power cord is a six-foot, three-wire line cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug.

FUSE HOLDER

The fuse holder houses a 4 AMP, 250 V, slow-blow fuse to protect the
UPS 300's circuitry and battery.  Replace with the same type and rating
only.  Radio shack Catalog Number 270-1289, or equivalent.

OUTPUT RECEPTACLES

There are three NEMA 5-15R receptacles available.  They are protected by
backup power .  Connect equipment to be protected to these outlets.
They are controlled by the front panel Output Power ON/OFF switch.
