A.   The MODEL II or 16 to be used with this board must have either

     1.  Model 16 Enhancement (26-6010),

     2.  Hard Disk Interface Board (26-4150), or

     3.  16K Memory Board (26-6503)

     4.  Model II must have ArcNet opening, if not, a new back
         panel (AZ-5223) must be ordered from National Parts.

B.   Model II and Model 16 Installation

     1.  Model II with Rev. A, B, or C boards must have a
         modification made to the CPU.  If a hard disk or
         graphics board has been installed, the modification
         has already been made.

     2.  Set the DIP switch on the ArcNet board.  Each ArcNet
         board in the system must have a unique setting.  Be
         sure to record the settings for each computer. The
         number zero (0) cannot be used.

     3.  Install the ArcNet board in the Card Cage in interrupt
         priority.  If there is no Hard Disk, skip the HD in the
         string order.
         CPU, FDC, (HD), ArcNet, Memory, other boards

     4.  If no Hard Disk or Model 16 Enhancement board is in the
         computer, install an extra 16K memory board so the 
         computer can boot a 4.xx TRSDOS.

     5.  Remove the plug just below the printer connector from
         the back panel.  Older Model II Computers will not
         have this plug and must have a new back panel.

     6.  Connect the angle plug of the internal cable to the
         ArcNet Board.  Install the other end in the ArcNet 
         opening on the back panel.
