Check J3 drive power connector (white 4 pin)

Check J4 jumpers.  (No jumpers installed for single drive configuration).  
Two drive jumper settings listed under DAISY CHAINING TWO DRIVES.

Check cables. (pin-1 connected to pin-1).  

Check to ensure Interface Board is seated properly in edge connector.

Check system setup/CMOS configuration to ensure drive is included with correct 
drive type.  If not set up correctly will get WDC Failure or No Hard Disk 
Recognized.

If full 42 MB cannot be obtained through FDISK/FORMAT:
Check MS-DOS 3.3 or greater.
Check drive type selected     (type 17 is correct).
