There is a socket on the main logic board at location U15 for the math
co-processor.

The 3000 NL comes jumpered for an 10 MHZ co-processor. An optional 10 MHZ* 
oscillator chip must be installed.

* REV B of NL main logic board does not properly support 8 MHZ co-processor.
  REV D of NL main logic board does support both 8 MHZ & 10 MHZ.

Note: Oscillator chip is available from National Parts under (25-4072)
part #(AXX-7149) the Oscillator installs in socket Y3.
