Toy Review: Quirky. That's what these guys are. Their cartoon depictions aside, I like them. Grindor has a great robot mode, even if a "rocket powered skateboard" is a little off the wall. I had a moped when I was in college, so I really like SureShock, even though his robot mode is just plain lame. High Wire is the homeliest of the bunch. His bike mode looks OK, but his robot mode is just pathetic. As little more than the head for Perceptor, the combined form of these three Minicons, he might as well not exist. I like a robot with wheels on his shoulders as much as the next guy, but I think without High Wire and an extra head on Grindor somewhere, Perceptor would have been just as good. Now that I've mentioned Perceptor, he's not a bad robot. He looks as cool as Grindor does, and by virtue much cooler than High Wire and SureShock. He's not real posable or anything, as parts of him get in the way of other parts. Honestly, the only reason to get this set is for Grindor, and because it's a combiner. Perceptor in the show kick tailpipe, so it's neat to have this character in toy form. I like it, so I recommend it.
